The Claude chatbot will recommend potential deals as part of the mentioned interactions. This digital product was developed by Anthropic.

Menlo Ventures’ Anthology Fund, the latest entrant in the large-scale new AI funder space, was founded for companies that use Antrophic’s Claude AI models to enable new products.

Menlo Ventures, one of Anthropic’s investors, will supply all the capital for the fund with investments starting at $100,000 for early-stage firms. Developer Claude won’t take a stake in the companies but will provide networking opportunities and credits for using its virtual product.

Menlo Ventures partner Matt Murphy said during a media interview that the specified partnership is aimed at finding more startups in the area of ??artificial intelligence in which to invest. It was also noted that this cooperation will allow companies to build relationships with Anthropic. Moreover, Matt Murphy said that the partnership will allow Menlo Ventures to understand what the venture capital company is looking for.

Companies participating in the fund are expected to use artificial intelligence models developed not only by Anthropic.

Firms can apply for participation in the fund online. Chatbot Claude from Anthropic will play a small role in recommending which startups the fund should focus on.

The mentioned fund has echos the OpenAI Startup Fund, which invests $175 million in companies operating in the artificial intelligence industry, and is backed by Microsoft.

The Anthropic Fund will finance startups focused on several areas, for example, in the development of tools to ensure trust and security in the AI ??sphere.
